Age-specific coloring & drawing books that grow with your child — from their first crayon scribbles at age one, to confidently drawing on their own by age ten.
The Doodle Prompts Method
Every Doodle Prompts book pairs two facing pages around the same picture — so coloring naturally becomes the first step toward drawing.
The left-hand page shows your child a full, complete image — every line already drawn for them. They color it in, building confidence and getting familiar with the shape before they ever pick up a pencil to draw it themselves.
The right-hand page shows the same image again — but with some of the lines missing. Using the picture they just colored as a guide, your child practices drawing the missing parts themselves, at exactly the right level of challenge for their age.
See It In Action
Mockup examples — solid black lines are the complete picture to color; soft dashed lines are the gentle hints your child fills in themselves on the drawing page.
■ Solid lines = the complete picture your child colors first. - - Dashed hints = what they practice drawing next.
Age-Specific, Not One-Size-Fits-All
Fine motor skills change enormously between age one and age ten — so instead of one generic book, Doodle Prompts publishes separate books calibrated to three developmental stages.

For Moms & Dads
Most coloring books stop at coloring. Doodle Prompts is built to be the bridge from coloring into real drawing — a skill kids can keep building for years.
Each age band removes a different amount of guidance, so your child is always gently challenged — never frustrated, never bored.
Just paper, crayons, and pencils. No app, no screen, no login — a simple activity you can hand your child anywhere.
