A plain-English explanation of what we collect and how we use it.

Doodle Prompts ("we," "us," "our") operates doodleprompts.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why, on what legal basis, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it — including the rights guaranteed to you under the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) if you're located in the European Economic Area or United Kingdom.

When you join the Doodle Prompts waitlist, we collect the information you enter in the form: your first name, your email address, and — if you choose to provide it — your child's age range. All fields are filled in by you, the adult visitor; we don't collect any information directly from children.
We don't sell, rent, or share your information with third parties for their own marketing purposes.
We keep your information for as long as you remain subscribed to the waitlist. If you unsubscribe or ask us to delete your data, we remove it from our active mailing list within 30 days, except where we're required to keep minimal records (e.g. proof of consent, or unsubscribe/suppression records) to comply with anti-spam law.
We use Kit (formerly ConvertKit), based in the United States, as our email service provider — Kit processes your name and email address on our behalf, under its own privacy policy, and relies on its own GDPR-compliant safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) for any transfer of data outside the EEA/UK. We don't share your data with any other third party. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link.
We keep cookies to a minimum, and we ask before setting anything beyond what's strictly necessary. When you first visit, you'll see a banner letting you accept or reject non-essential cookies — your choice is remembered so you're not asked again, and you can change it any time via "Cookie Settings" in the footer.

We don't use any analytics or advertising cookies. Our self-hosted fonts (see below) don't set cookies at all.
This site's fonts are self-hosted directly from our own server, not loaded from Google's servers — so no font-related data is ever sent to Google, and no consent is needed for them.
Doodle Prompts is a site for parents, not children. We don't knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13 (or under 16 in the EEA, where applicable). The optional "child's age" field on our waitlist form is a general age range selected by the parent, not any identifying information about the child. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data directly, contact us and we'll delete it.

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated policy.
